We've also rescheduled my Vintage Vinyl record singing in Fords, NJ which was snowed out a few weeks back. The new date is Saturday March 27th at 1pm. February 26, 2010 VINTAGE VINYL CD SIGNING POSTPONED, NEW CHARRED WALLS OF THE DAMNED ARTICLES
Unfortunately my Charred Walls of the Damned CD signing tomorrow at Vintage Vinyl in Fords, NJ has been postponed because of tons of snow in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. Dang you Old Man Winter!! It looks like an Immortal album cover here in New York City! Haha! We want everybody to be safe and stay off the roads if possible. A lot of fans have emailed me to ask about the Charred Walls of the Damned bonus track cover version of Powermad's Nice Dreams and why it isn't available on Itunes yet. Well, I'm so sorry for the confusion, but the track will be released on Itunes in the U.S. after the Japanese CD (which the bonus track appears on) is released next month. I'm very sorry to everyone who expected it to be available on February 2nd but trust me it will be worth the wait, the song is awesome!

Brian Slagel, Richard Christy and Tim Ripper Owens invade the SiriusXM studios!
SiriusXM subscribers will have a bunch of opportunities to hear three of metals best personalities on their radios on Monday, February 1st. The guys will swing by for an interview with Liquid Metals Jose Mangin, which will air on Tuesday, Februay 2nd every hour near the top of the hour from 4pm-9pm EST/1pm-6pm PST. The guys will also drop by Eddie Trunks show on the Boneyard around 6:30pm eastern. Finally, they will wrap up the evening (for radio interviews, anyway!) on Howard 100 on the Scott Ferrall Show. That interview will air sometime around 8pm eastern. Times are all tentative, so make sure to tune in early so you dont miss the action.

January 21, 2010 'Ghost Town' Video Premier from Charred Walls Of The Damned, Album Release Party, That Metal Show, & Tons of Other News
Hey Everyone,
There's a lot of really cool things happening leading up to the Tuesday February 2nd, 2010 release date of the debut album from my band Charred Walls of the Damned!
Tomorrow is the debut of the first ever music video from Charred Walls of the Damned for the song "Ghost Town"! The video debuts at 11am Thursday Jan. 21st exclusively at AOL's Metal Music website NoiseCreep.com! The video turned out amazing and I'm really proud of it. It was directed by my good friend Mike Schiff from M.A.S. Productions. He did such an amazing job capturing the mood and tone of the song which deals with a sole inhabitant in a deserted town contaminated by years of environmental abuse. Mike worked really hard on this video and it really shows. We filmed at one of my favorite haunted houses in America - Shocktoberfest in Pennsylvania ShockToberFest.com. I'm a Halloween fanatic and I make the trek to Shocktoberfest every October so it was really exciting to film there in the off season and get a behind the scenes look at the place while we filmed the video!
There will be a FREE release party for the Charred Walls of the Damned album on Tuesday night Feb. 2nd, 2010 at Fontana's in New York City! FontanasNYC.com Tim "Ripper" Owens and I will be appearing at the party and starting at 8pm we will be signing copies of Charred Walls of the Damned's album which you can buy at the FYE table at the party! Starting at 9pm there will be three amazing heavy metal bands playing! My good buddies The Hixon from Philly will be playing, I host their Hixonfest every year and they are an amazing band! Also the killer heavy metal bands Judas Syndrome and Doomriders will be blasting some killer metal tunes! It's going to be a really fun night and I hope to see you all there!

Today I filmed a guest spot on the awesome heavy metal TV show on VH1 Classic titled That Metal Show! It was a blast hanging with my buddies Jim Florentine, Don Jameson, and Eddie Trunk and as an added bonus my good friend and legendary bassist Rudy Sarzo was the featured guest for the show! It was so much fun hanging out and talking heavy metal with the guys and it was an honor to be a part of a show that I'm such a huge fan of! I've seen every single episode and it's great that there's a show on TV dedicated to classic and also new heavy metal! The show will air on VH1 Classic March 20th!
I'll be writing a monthly article for the awesome Heavy Metal magazine Decibel! DecibelMagazine.com The article is called "Richard Christy's Horrorscope" and it will feature some of my favorite classic and new horror films and also some of my favorite horror themed heavy metal bands and albums! My first article will be featured in the March 2010 issue which hits newsstands in early February and features Fear Factory on the cover. Heavy Metal and Horror Movies are two of my favorite things so I'm super psyched to be able to write about some of my favorites in Decibel Magazine!
Jason Suecof, the guitar player in Charred Walls of the Damned, and I will be featured in an upcoming issue of Guitar World magazine GuitarWorld.com hitting news stands February 2nd! We both did a really fun photo shoot with our guitars and also we each talked about writing the music for the debut album from Charred Walls of the Damned!

Hello Everyone,
Hope everyone had a Happy Holidays! It’s a new decade and I have a lot of things to update everyone about!
First off, it’s only one month away until the release of the debut album by my new band Charred Walls of the Damned on Metal Blade Records! Tuesday February 2nd, 2010 is the big day and I can’t even begin to describe how excited I am! The album turned out amazing and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it! First off Happy Thanksgiving! It's been a while since Ive updated any of my sites because I've been super busy with my job, the holidays, and my new band Charred Walls of the Damned!
